JOURNAL ENTRY: It's the beginning of the end

Mark and I have spoken with both of our attorneys and they will be fielding any and all inquiries made to us. RELIEF!

Charges were made against him last night, one count of first degree murder, and two counts of aggravated assault. These were made by Kansas last night, with a preliminary hearing as a goal for today. It's going to get far more interesting though, when the FBI and Homeland Security get involved and put forth their charges. I don't see Scott seeing the free light of day for the rest of his life. Hopefully, we can all be put out of our misery and the death penalty in Kansas implemented.

I didn't sleep but an hour last night, just couldn't settle enough to stay down long. I am ready to meet this thing head on and get it fully behind us, though it looks as though that won't happen for at least a year.

The one wrong decision by the judge, has cost this family MUCH in the way of finances, well over $20,000, my health, Victoria and other miscarried babies due to stress, and just the torture of this mother's heart in thinking that this man could have been able to take her to Kansas at the swing of a pen by this judge.

It's the beginning of the end and I am more than thankful, yet realize that we still have a long row to hoe.
